General Information

1. Application Overview


GGMUN encourages youth leaders who are ready to tackle the world issues with their ideas and solutions to apply this event. GGMUN welcomes people from diverse background without exception. This year GGMUN is back with 8 forums, 12 hours total of meeting session, more than 900 delegates expected, seven meeting session, prestigious diplomatic dinner and inspiring speakers.

Country and Forum Assignment

Country and forum assignments are determined by a variety of factors, including motivation letter, MUN experience and quota of forum. If you are not assigned in one of the forums you applied, delegates will be allocated in their second or third forum preferences. However, if the quota is full the committee has the right to allocate to the other forum.

2. Venue

City description

Bangkok is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. In thai it is known as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon or Krung Thep. Bangkok has a population of over eight million, or 12.6 percent of the country’s population.  Bangkok’s multi-faceted sights, attractions and city life appeal to diverse groups of tourists. Royal palaces and temples as well as several museums constitute its major historical and cultural tourist attractions. Shopping experiences offer a wide range of choices and prices. The city is also famous for its dynamic nightlife. Food is another Bangkok best part. Bangkok served local dishes at humble street stalls and haute cuisine at romantic rooftop restaurant. The culture of Bangkok reflects its position as Thailand’s centre of wealth and modernisation. The city has long been the portal of entry of Western concepts and material goods, which have been adopted and blended with Thai values to various degrees by its residents.

3. Financial Aid & Guide to Fundraising

There is no financial aid available to support applicants at this time. We suggest applicants to check local organizations for sources of subsidy and support. Delegates can apply sponsorship to certain company/organization or school/college. Delegates may use the proposal and letter of acceptance as necessary document for sponsorship approval.

The steps :

After you are registered and accepted as Delegate in GGMUN you will received your LoA. You can use your LoA as the attached page on the Sponsorship Proposal. You can submit your sponsorhip Proposal to your school or university, alumnae group, or lecturer funding, or even local government.

4. Travel Arrangements, Hotels and Food

Travel Arrangements

    • Delegates are required to make their own arrangements for flight ticket to and from Malaysia, as well as for accommodation during the conference. However, GGMUN provides Airport Assistance, shuttle bus from the Airport to the hotel, and PICC for full accommodation delegates.
    • Non accommodation delegates could use local public transport such as Taxi, Train, and LRT* and MRT* or GRAB (Online Taxi similar to UBER).

Food Options

GGMUN 3.0 provides meals with a variety of options based on the delegates’ preference such as vegetarian food or other special dietary needs caused by their health conditions.

5. Payments


All fees are non-refundable (TnC for refund).

The provision of payment will be informed in the letter of agreement that will be provided by the committee.


REFUND Terms and Conditions

For cancellation due to sickness, death, natural disasters, and conflict, the delegates will be given a 100% refund maximum 60 days before the event.

For cancellation due to visa rejection, the delegates will get 100% refund. The delegates should inform approximately 45 days before the event.
